“Heart diseases can take a toll on your health and psyche. My goal is to provide comprehensive medical care, social and emotional support. Heart disease in women can present variably, so I teach women how to recognize heart disease and deliver timely treatment to prevent long-term disabilities. My mission is to change my patients’ health for the better by working closely with them, for them!”

Treating heart patients with all my heart.

“When I was a little girl, my father often told me ‘Wherever you go, go with all your heart.’ I followed his advice and went to medical school where I put my heart and soul into learning. What interested me most in cardiology was the fact that it can make an enormous impact on the health of an individual with preventive as well as interventional strategies. I enjoyed learning about both male and female cardiology issues. As I trained further, I was amazed by how undertreated and under diagnosed heart disease is in women. While I enjoy treating all patients, I have taken a special interest in treating women with heart disease.”

“Another field of cardiology that particularly interests me is adult congenital heart disease in adults who were born with heart malformations and are now too old for a pediatrician’s care. My goal is to achieve cardiac health goals for these two special populations as well as all the patients I am privileged to serve.”
