“What I implement in my practice is what I believe Cardiology to be: a combination of art, science and skills which help a person maintain or achieve well-being, and where evidence-based medicine is truly expressed. This combination can be quite beautiful when a physician’s careful observation of symptoms is united with scientific laws to arrive at a diagnostic and therapeutic plan that can dramatically alter the course of another human being’s life in a positive way.”

The reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more, and it is priceless if helping you heal is the goal.

“I enjoy the challenge of keeping up with new developments in Cardiovascular Medicine, and I take satisfaction in contributing to its growth. It was a wish that led me to pursue research in this rapidly advancing field at various stages of my life. I have always remembered that the reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more, and it is priceless if helping you heal is the goal. I believe that with ambition and pleasure in the job, any obstacle can turn into success. My desire to become a physician, specifically with Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology, began when I had the life-altering event of losing my father. He did not have access to a physician who might have prevented his untimely death due to a cardiovascular event that could have been prevented by medical attention. That was the moment when the desire to prevent those tragedies began and was further enriched by dozens of other similar tragedies, all due to inadequate medical care.”
